Do you feel stuck and unsure about what will work for your child with ADHD, Autism, or other learning differences?

I am so excited that you’re here! This podcast will help you create a positive homeschool atmosphere, engage your kids where they’re at, and give you the confidence that you’re making progress every day!

Hi, I’m Jenny, homeschool mom of 5 kids, former special education teacher, with 8 years of homeschooling experience.

Over the past three years I discovered that some of my children had unique learning and attention needs. I tried to find ways to outsource their education because I was afraid of failing. I finally realized that God had given me everything I needed to homeschool my kids.

I created a homeschool rhythm and systems to support our household. A straightforward approach that starts with what’s most important to us. A framework that includes practical solutions and the flexibility my kids need. And I’m looking forward to sharing it with you!

If you’re ready to create a peaceful and positive homeschool that works for you and your kids, engage your kids in a meaningful way, get clarity on what your version of a successful homeschool day looks like–this podcast is for you!

Find a comfy chair and take a deep breath, knowing that you’re not alone.

What do you do when your child is struggling with reading? Navigating reading challenges, dyslexia, or ADHD
How do you find good books that fit your child’s interests?
How do you turn  your family read aloud into a time of connection rather than a battle?

In this episode, we discuss strategies to take the pressure off frustrated readers, ideas to support reluctant readers, how to find good books, and how to keep our book list organized!
*Note: I want to make a distinction before we get started. This isn't an episode about how to teach a child with dyslexia to read. There are wonderful specialists and evidence-based approaches for that. This episode is about something different: how do we keep books, stories, and reading joyful when reading itself is difficult?

Does homeschool planning stress you out?
Or are you getting ready to begin homeschool but not sure where to start?
What’s most important to do when you’re planning? Is it curriculum? Is it a co-op?

Planning your homeschool year doesn't have to feel overwhelming. In this episode, I’ll share some of my first year mistakes that taught me how to plan more intentionally. You'll learn how to build a homeschool year that fits your family's values, schedule, and goals.
Whether you're brand new to homeschooling or simply looking for a more intentional way to prepare for the year ahead, these six steps will help you create a clear roadmap with less stress and more confidence.
I’ll go over six key steps:
How to create a weekly homeschool schedule that fits your family's life
Why reflection is one of the most important parts of planning
How to build a daily homeschool rhythm that supports consistency
What your homeschool "spine" is and how it simplifies curriculum planning
How to choose extracurriculars and enrichment activities without overscheduling
Guidance for evaluating all your ideas and making decisions

Have you ever wondered if your child is struggling because of ADHD—or because they're trying to learn in an environment that wasn't designed with neurodivergent brains in mind?

In this episode, I'm sharing five reasons why homeschooling can be such a powerful option for children with ADHD. This isn't about saying traditional schools are "bad." There are incredible teachers doing amazing work every day. But many ADHD learners need flexibility, individualized support, and opportunities to build executive functioning skills that are difficult to provide in a traditional classroom.
We'll talk about how homeschooling allows us to create a learning environment that supports regulation, teach the life skills our kids actually need, nurture their interests, and prepare them for a rapidly changing world. Most importantly, homeschooling gives us the opportunity to help our children grow into confident, capable adults while honoring the unique way God created them.

Why do some behavior strategies seem to work for one child but completely fail with another?
What does "regulation" actually mean, and why does it matter so much for learning and behavior?
How can you tell if a challenging behavior is really a sign that your child is dysregulated?

In this episode, occupational therapist Alison Foura joins me from the Sensory Solutions for Parents podcast to explore the connection between regulation and behavior. We discuss what it is and how it impacts learning, attention, emotions, and behavior.
Whether you're navigating meltdowns, resistance, big emotions, or daily struggles with focus and transitions, this conversation will help you look beneath the behavior and better support your neurodivergent learner.
Save this quote from the conversation: Dr. Ross Greene says, “Kids do well when they can,” and those are words to live by when we’re raising up our kids!
